The next site builder update should be available later this month. We are in
the process of finalizing the update and testing. The update will include the
follow enhancements.

Search Marketing/Getting Started Guide
The
marketing and search engines area is being reworked. Much of the information in
the existing marketing area is outdated and requires quite a bit of reading.
The new content is designed to be quick and easy to read.
We are
splitting the current marketing area into two separate guides. The Search
Marketing Guide will focus on search engine optimization, submission, pay per
click and other traffic generating strategies. The Quick Start Design Guide
will include tips/ideas for building your website, focusing on the content,
design and building a top quality web presence.

The new design guide provides a
quick resource and overview of strategies for building an effective website.
Each of these areas feature a simple list of ideas/tips to consider while
setting up a website.

Templates
The update includes about 10 new
templates/layouts
Design: Design Manager
The design manager has been
enhanced to allow customers to save all of their design settings and give each
design set a unique name. Customers can save as many design sets as they wish
and then reload the design settings through the design manager.
The
design settings are portable. Future updates will allow a design set to be
download from one website and uploaded to another.

Layout
The layout selection page has been re-organized into five layout
categories (popular, new, basic/clean, dark, all layouts). Each layout
category is displayed in a tabbed box.
Design: Text/CSS

Customers can enable non-graphic text based menus.

Over one hundred new logos have been added to the system.
Page
Properties Enhancements
The page properties can now be accessed directly from
the page editor. The page properties button has been added to the main site
editor bar between the add page and edit page buttons. When the page properties
button is pushed, the properties window slides down, allowing you to change page
settings, modify the page layout, assign security access and set page specific
meta keywords/description.
Form Builder
Support for file uploads
through the form builder has been added to the system. There is a 2mb limit of
upload file size. The uploaded files are sent with the form email as
attachments.
Tutorials
New tutorials have been added for the content
rotator, file upload utility, setting up wholesale products, fonts and copying
products.
Ecommerce
Google Checkout
Support for Google checkout
has been added.
Coupon Enhancements
New coupon restrictions allow you
to set which products can be used with a coupon (select specific products or
exclude specific products). You can restrict the coupon to only apply to
products that are not on sale. A new discount type has been added "By X get Y
free".
Product Search
The product search feature is now available from
with in the store manager This is helpful for customers that have a large
number of products. They can easily find and update product
entries
Product Images
There is now an option to delete product images
when deleting products. This option is enabled through the advanced store
settings. There is also a message on the product delete confirmation box that
will instruct users on how to enable the delete option
VAT tax support
(value added tax)
The VAT tax option displays the VAT tax amount along with
the base product price. VAT tax display is enabled through the international
settings page. The system uses the first sales tax entry in the sales tax
settings to determine how to compute the VAT amount.
