Text Editor:

The system text editor is being upgraded to include enhanced editing features as well as cross platform support. The new text editor (ver. 2.0) is now supported in the FireFox browser. The new editor includes the following new features:
- Collapsible toolbar
- Paste (plain text, paste from word)
- Font style highlighting - shows current font settings when text is clicked/highlighted
- Full screen editing mode
- Page anchors
- Insert/Edit image using the standard image selector page
- Insert/Edit link uses the standard link editor
NOTE:
When the 4.09a release is installed, the default text editor will still be the old (1.0) editor. Customers will be able to try the new editor by going to a special editor settings page. For a customer to switch to the new editor they will need to go to one of the following pages on their site. Replace the domain and/or trial name with the customers account information.

There may be some features such as links setup in the 2.0 editor that may not be editable in the 1.0 editor. This will only cause problems for a customer that switches from the new editor back to the old editor. If one of these links is edited, it just needs to be setup again.
The preview server has the new text editor set as the default editor. We are looking to get user feedback to ensure the new editor is working on many different accounts before setting it as the default system editor.
File Manager:

The file manager has been enhanced with the following new features:
- Sorting options (sort by name, size, file date)
- File filters: show all files that start with a letter. Type in the first part of a file name or extension to show all files matching the filter. (file, *.gif, file*.doc)
- Shows previews of image files
- Select the number of files to show on each page
Media Folder: The new file manager has a media folder. All media file (audio and video) are required to be uploaded to the media folder.
Link Selector/Editor:

The new system will now use the same link editing interface for both the text editor links as well as link components.
- Link to a file on the site
- Popup window link: open a link in a new popup window. You can set the window size and attributes such as scrollbars, toolbar, resizable and more.
Design:
------------------------------------------------------------------
New banners have been added in the following categories: Business, City Life, Education, Finance, Legal, Medical, Politics/Election, Real-estate, Food, Sports, and Travel.
Misc Updates:
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Form security added to the new user account and mailing list signup pages.
