Overture Site Match ™ Overview

Overture Site Match Information and Cost per click schedule

  How Site Match Works

Submit URLs for review and pay a non-refundable annual fee for editors to review the quality of content on your submitted pages.

Once reviewed and accepted into the program, your pages are added to a database of sites that powers search results for major web portals such as Yahoo!, MSN, Alta Vista, Lycos, All the Web, FAST and others.

When a user clicks on your Site Match listing in search results, you pay a cost-per-click fee for that lead. You must maintain a positive balance in your cost-per-click account for your pages to remain active in the program.

  Options for managing your budget

Here are the three options for managing CPC Funds under Overture Site Match.

  • Non-Stop Traffic Plan:
You authorize Overture to charge your credit card the specified amount when you have 3-5 days of funds left in your account. This ensures uninterrupted service with minimum account management. You'll be notified by e-mail when your credit card is charged. If your URLs are currently deactivated, you must deposit money to reactivate them.
Charge my credit card $___  when my account balance falls to $___ .
(Note: We will not bill you more than once during every 24-hour period.)
  • Fixed Budget Plan:
You set a monthly budget that you want to spend on Overture Site Match. When your balance reaches $0.00, your URLs will be deactivated until the next month. We'll automatically turn your account back on and charge your credit card for your budgeted amount on the day of the month that you originally signed up for this payment plan. For example, if you sign up on the 5th of the month, your account will always be turned back on the 5th of the month.
Charge my credit card each month to bring my account balance up to $___.
  • Pre-Payment Plan:
You choose when to add money to your account, giving you flexibility over the amount and timing of the deposits into your account. When your account is depleted, your URLs will be deactivated until you add more money to your account. We will send you an e-mail notification 7 days in advance of this occurring, and again if your URLs are deactivated.

  Pricing

Overture Site Match has two pricing components: an annual review fee and cost-per-click fee based on product category. (see below)

When you initiate your Site Match subscription, a non-refundable annual review fee is charged for setting up your account and for editors to review the quality of content on your pages. Site Match subscribers who submit fewer than 1,000 URLs pay the annual review fee, which breaks down as follows:

Annual URL Review Fee

First URL $49.00
URLs 2 thru 10 $29.00 ea.
URLs 11 thru 999 $10.00 ea.

(Pricing tiers are based on the number of URLs per domain/host.)

Subscribers then pay a fixed cost-per-click when a potential customer clicks on one of their listings (URLs). The fee is either 15 cents or 30 cents, depending upon the URL's content.
