Viewing your pages list
- Click the "page list" button from the main edit menu to view your page list.
Adding a page
- Click the "add page" button from the main edit menu, or click the "add page" button from the page list.
- Choose a page layout. Click one of the page layout icons to choose the layout. NOTE: all pages are dynamic, allowing you to customize the layout.
- Enter the page name. NOTE: This will be the name that appears in the menu.
- Select the page location. You can choose to have the page appear in the main menu, as a sub-page (listed below a main page), in a sub-group, or as a page that is not in the menu.
- Click "OK" to create the page.
Deleting a page
- Click the "page list" button from the main edit menu.
- Click the "delete" link next to the page that you wish to remove.
- Click "OK" to confirm that you wish to delete the page.
Reordering your site's menu
- Click the "page list" button from the main edit menu.
- Click the "reorder pages" button, or click the "subpage order" link from the page list.
- Select a page name from the list and click the "move up" or "move down" buttons to change the page order.
- Click "OK" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Default page for your site
The default page for your site (sometimes known as your index page) is the first page in your sites Main Menu. To change the default page of your site:
- Click the "page list" button from the Edit Site tab.
- Click the "reorder pages" button.
- Select a page name from the list that you wish to have as your default page and click the "move up" or "move down" buttons to change the page order so that page is listed at the top.
Setting the page location
- Click the "page list" button from the main edit menu.
- Click the "properties" link next to the page that you want to change to display the page properties.
- Select the page location from the "Page Location" drop down.
- Click "OK" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Each page on your site can be configured to be displayed in the following locations:
Main Menu:
Selecting this option will put the page in your sites main menu.
Sub Menu Page:
Sub-pages are displayed whenever a top level page is selected. Sub-pages allow you to create a multi-level menu system for your site.
Page Group:
Use page groups to organize pages that are not displayed in your sites menu. To create a setup a page group, click the "manage page groups" link from the page list.
Not in menu:
Select "not in menu" for pages that you do not want to be displayed in your sites menu. NOTE: for these pages to appear on your site, you will need to setup links to the pages.
Page Properties
- Click the "page list" button from the main edit menu.
- Click the "properties" link next to the page that you want to change to display the page properties.
- Enter a new page name to change the page name.
- Enter a new page title to change the title. The page title is displayed in the title bar of the browser window.
- Click "OK" to save your changes.
Creating page groups
- Click the "page list" button from the main edit menu.
- Click the "manage page groups" link.
- Click "add page groups" to add a new page group.
- Check the "Site Map" checkbox if you wish this page group to appear on any site map pages you've created.
- Enter a name for the page group and click "OK".
