I highly recommend AWSP - Houston's Host. They can build a site for you, or provide templates where you can build your own. The programs walk you through each step and they have wonderful tech support help (for those folks, who like me, are techonologically- challenged! ). Whenever I posted an email for help on an item, the response was really fast and the explanantion was such that I was able to fix the problem myself. Having called tech support for some companies and talked to a 22 year old in India with limited English, I can tell you, this company is like a breath of fresh air!

I have used several different hosting providers over the course of many years, which shall remain nameless. Some will try to lure you with low prices, some with flashy features.

However, if you want a rock-solid, 99.99% uptime, extremely intuitive and easy-to-use hosted solution with an exceptional website builder, look no further. There is truth in the old adage that you get what you pay for. While other companies may offer "impossible to believe" pricing deals, that is exactly what they are -- impossible -- especially when you are in a bind and need technical support.

Houston's Host and Advanced Website Publishing offer a system that is so reliable, that my site has NEVER gone down! The same can't be said for other hosting companies I have used in the past. Currently, we use Houston's Host and Advanced Website Publishing to host our government site because we wanted reliability, ease of use and security.

What I most appreciate about Houston's Host and Advanced Website Publishing is the extremely well designed site builder. I have never encountered one that offers so much flexibility. It is so easy to import and scale graphics, link to files, add Flash features and create exceptionally professional looking sites and the best part of it all is, you do not have to know one bit of HTML! It is simply point and click. However, they do not leave the power users behind either, as we have inserted our own custom HTML in certain locations in our site.

All of that aside, the NUMBER ONE most important feature that Houston's Host and Advanced Website Publishing offer is superior, exceptional -- well, it is difficult to find the right superlative to describe -- customer and technical support.

I have contacted them over the years for various technical support issues and I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to speak to a human being! Rather than trying to articulate a problem via email, and hope you get a response, a quick call gets your problem resolved in minutes.

I have to relay a little story that happened tonight. We have several sites we host with Houston's Host and Advanced Website Publishing. One we update very frequently. One has not been updated in quite some time. Long story short, I had forgotten the password to the oft neglected site. Seeing as how it was after hours (at least that is what I assumed), I sent an email asking if someone would call me or email me, telling them that I had forgotten my password and thinking I would get a call or an email tomorrow.

Imagine my surprise when the phone rang WITHIN 90 SECONDS and it was Technical Support on the phone, assisting me with my issue! I was back in and updating my site within 2 minutes, and that included the 90 second wait between pressing send on my email message and getting logged in again! I challenge anyone to try and find any other company who offers this kind of service.

Again, in closing, I cannot say enough good things about this company. I now host exclusively with them, and refer everyone I know to them as well.
